In "real life", as it is referred as over the internet, I am in High School, thus it is very imaginable that I would make Music a HUGE factor over my life. Notice that I capitalize the word Music to signify it's importance. Music is the purpose of this site.
The name of this site "Not Just Moby" derives from my past. Throughout the past four years I have listened to the musical artist Moby, and only Moby. I have adored his Music and narrowed all of my musical interests down to Moby. No, I've never became bored with this strict "musical diet". After those four years, my father (biological) offered me multiple albums from multiple artists including "X & Y" by Coldplay and "Big Calm" by Morcheeba. Right before I was going to redirect my interests back to Moby, a good friend of mine let me listen to her iPod with her, opening me up with even more artists, like The Gorillaz and Disturbed. Although my interest in Disturbed was short-lived, my interest in The Gorillaz prevailed. In fact, right now, as I'm typing this article, I'm listening to The Gorillaz hit "Dare".
That's when I noticed that Music is quite contagious.
Please note that I respect all music but I don't absolutely favor all music. For example, I agree that experimental or improv Music is in fact Music, but I dislike most forms of improv (by the way, improv Music is Music that is made-up as it is played).
